Safety & trust

Paying someone you met on social media always carries risk. Paxtra does not eliminate fraud. It does give you a clearer request to review, a record of the deal, and a process if something goes wrong.

A man at his kitchen table carefully compares details on his phone with his laptop before paying.
Check before you payDomain, seller, amount and agreed terms. Works for products and services.

Everyone sees the same details.

Buyer and seller both review what was agreed.

Every stage is visible.

You can see where a deal stands.

Facts are easier to establish.

If something goes wrong, good records help show what happened.

For buyers

  • Review every detail before paying
  • Keep your conversation with the seller
  • Keep photos, receipts and relevant delivery or completion evidence
  • Don't confirm until you've received the product or the agreed service is complete
  • Report anything suspicious: Contact Paxtra

For sellers

  • Describe your goods or services accurately
  • Keep photos, tracking, delivery or completion records
  • Use tracked shipping where a physical product needs it
  • Keep proof the buyer accepted the product or completed work

Slow down if

  • you're pushed to pay immediately
  • the details don't match what you agreed
  • the link came from an account you don't know
  • someone asks you to move the conversation or payment somewhere else

Not sure? Stop and contact Paxtra.

Paxtra does not currently operate a Trust Score. Any future account reliability assessment will be described in the legal documents before it is used.
