About Paxtra
Paxtra is a Canadian company helping people turn agreements made through social media and messaging into payment requests both sides can review.

Why Paxtra exists
People buy products on Instagram and Facebook Marketplace, book services in DMs and take freelance work from a message. The deal is agreed in conversation. Payment often happens somewhere else, with less context.
That gap is where uncertainty creeps in: what was agreed, what happens after paying, when the seller gets paid, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Paxtra exists to bring structure to that moment. We are not a generic payment gateway, and we are not built into Instagram or WhatsApp. You share a Paxtra payment request in the chat you already use.
To make social media deals clearer to pay for, simpler to follow and easier to complete.
To help people pay with more confidence when a deal starts in a conversation, in Canada first and in more markets as we grow.
Everyone should see what was agreed.
We look at the facts and favour neither side.
We say what we do, and what we don't.
Fewer steps, plainer words.
Trust comes from clear stages and honest records, not big promises.
