  2. Step 2Review and payCheck the details match your chat, then pay if you're happy.

Review first

Before you pay: a quick check

  • Is this the right seller?
  • Does the item or service match what we agreed?
  • Is the price right?
  • Do the terms (delivery, timing, what's included) match?
  • Does the page sit on an official Paxtra domain?

If anything is off, ask the seller to correct the request before you pay. Make sure it's really Paxtra

From paying to confirming

Paying

Payments are processed through Stripe. After you pay, use the same link to follow each stage, from payment through to release.

The payment methods you see depend on where you are and the supported markets.

  • Payment request
  • Secure checkout
  • Confirmation

While you wait

The seller delivers your item or does the work. Keep your chat with them. For items, keep photos, receipts and delivery updates. For services, keep any files, drafts or progress updates.

Only confirm when you've received and accepted what you agreed to.

Confirming tells Paxtra the deal is done and starts the release of funds to the seller. After funds are released, Paxtra cannot promise to reverse the transaction. So take a moment to check the item or the work first.

  • Did it arrive or get completed?
  • Is it what we agreed?
  • Am I happy to confirm?

Not happy yet? Talk to the seller. If you can't sort it out, see how disputes work.

Cancelling

Before the seller starts fulfilling the deal, cancelling may be possible, depending on the circumstances. After that, cancellation isn't automatic. Things like work already done, shipping costs, personalised items, digital goods and the seller's terms all matter. Paxtra's policies don't affect your legal consumer rights.

If something goes wrong

  1. Step 1Talk to the seller
  2. Step 2Gather your evidence
  3. Step 3Use a formal dispute as the last resort

Buyer FAQs

Do I need a Paxtra account to pay?

No. If you're buying, you don't need to create an account. Your seller or service provider will send you a Paxtra payment link. Open the link to review the request, pay and follow the progress of your transaction. Keep that link. Don't share it with anyone else.

Buyers

How can I track my payment?

Use the Paxtra link your seller sent you. It lets you check your transaction's progress and see when action is needed. Treat the link like a receipt and keep it somewhere safe.

Payments & fees

When should a buyer confirm completion?

Only when you've received and accepted what you agreed to. Confirming starts the release of funds.

What if my item doesn't arrive or the service isn't completed?

Contact the seller first and keep your messages. If it isn't resolved, you can use a formal dispute as the last resort.

Disputes

What if I'm unhappy with a service?

Talk to the seller and explain what doesn't match what you agreed. Gather evidence, then use a formal dispute if you can't resolve it.
